Catastrophy Servicing
We've been servicing Carolinas catastrophes for
decades, including such fall disasters as hurricanes Hazel, Connie,
Diane and Ione in the mid 50's; Donna in the early 60's; Diane
and Hugo in the mid to late '80's and in the mid to late '90's
Hurricanes Fran, Bertha, Bonnie and Floyd. Additionally other
catastrophic Carolina events such as the spring tandem tornadoes
in ENC in '84, the Storm of the Century in '93 and various isolated
Carolinas hail storms throughout this entire time frame.
It has been our policy over the years not to expand
our reach beyond states in which we operate thereby spreading thin
our resources and supervision. We know well our territory and are
selective with those whom we choose to utilize to supplement our
seasoned personnel, some of whom may be temporarily routed to storm
impacted areas for the most timely first response. Most of our supplemental
assistance is comprised of individuals who have affiliated with
us in the past with whom we have an established working relationship.
Nevertheless we are always seeking for qualified,
responsible individuals to assist us in these events. Our minimal
expectations include automation and professional attire.
